Home Inspections Needed for Canadians.
As the US dollar continues to drop in comparison to the Canadian currency, many Canadians are choosing to buy homes in Arizona and with that they need home inspections.
Unfortunately, it is not easy for Canadians to know who to hire as their AZ Home Inspector as they do not know what to look for.
I am here to help. In Canada, when hiring a home inspector you should look for someone that is a member of The Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors® (CAHPI®)
In the US you should look for someone that is a certified Home Inspector with The American Society of Home Inspectors® (ASHI).
If you click the gold logo on the right side of this page you can verify our membership in ASHI. The blue/silver logo is to verify AZ Certified Home Inspectors (when you click on the logo a new page will open, type in Warga in the name field).
ASHI Certified Home Inspectors have passed a written exam, have performed over 250 fee paid Home Inspections and have a strict code of ethics we must adhere to.
We love performing home inspections for our Canadian friends. In fact, we are friends with several Canadian home inspectors in Calgary and Alberta as a whole. Some of them are actually in leadership of CAHPI®
We are bonded and carry, not only Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance, but General liability insurance as well.
We can e-mail you the agreement ahead of time and e-mail you the report when we are finished.
We do accept credit cards over the phone.
This climate is completely different than anywhere in Canada, so you need a home inspector that is familiar with the area, the issues and the construction techniques.
We are licensed residential and commercial contractors and have 11+ years of experience in inspections and construction. We have been hired by other builders and attorneys as experts to identify issues and help design plans and protocols on how to repair those issues.
As Licensed Contractors, & Home Inspectors, We Can perform the Further Evaluation
Many Home inspectors find a suspect issue and call for further evaluation by a licensed contractor. We are licensed contractors, so as long as we will not cause damage to the property and it is within our scope, many times we can perform the further evaluation right then, and tell you what the real issue is.
We also have a list of contractors that we can refer you to, if needed. However, we will not accept any referral fees from the contractors we refer, and have dropped contractors from my referral list if they do not take good care of my clients.
