Bill Loden brings broad technical knowledge and experience to his inspection business. With a Bachelors of Science degree in Construction from Mississippi State University, Bill started his professional career as an offshore field engineer in the petroleum industry. Later, he worked as a project manager in commercial and industrial construction.
Bill’s career took a sudden turn when he had the opportunity to join the nation’s space shuttle program as a safety engineer after the Challenger accident. Since 1989 Bill has worked in safety, reliability and quality assurance, inspecting and assessing space shuttle propulsion systems. One of the highlights of Bill’s NASA career was being named a recipient of the “Silver Snoopy,” the astronauts’ own award for outstanding performance contributing to flight safety and mission success.
On any given day Bill may spend the morning in a Pre-Flight Assessment review and the afternoon under a house, in a crawlspace. He applies the same experience and dedication to excellence in performing home inspections. He regularly receives verbal and written appreciation from his clients for his thoroughness and attention to detail. Bill’s basic approach to every home inspection is that all problems should be reported and explained. Armed with this information, Bill’s clients can decide which ones are serious enough to discuss further with the seller. This is especially important to homebuyers in Alabama since Alabama is a “Buyer Beware” state, with no seller disclosure requirements.
